About

Hi! I’m Rachel, a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill pursuing a degree in Advertising and Public Relations with minors in Data Science and Biology.

My work primarily revolves around social media marketing with a specialization in multilingual content creation. What currently excites me is how cross-functional collaboration through software utilization, user analytics and advertising can deliver impactful messages to people all around the world in an ever-changing digital age.

As a social media marketing enthusiast, my professional goals and aspirations center around leveraging the power of online platforms to drive brand awareness and engagement cost-effectively and inclusively. I aim to become an advertising executive to aid in expanding my family business back in Indonesia. Ultimately though, I hope to use the knowledge I have to further children’s education in the country through various forms of digital marketing and content creation. While access to education is still limited for many children, I hope to change what lives I can through my contributions. If you are interested in seeing my work in education so far, click here to take a tour through The Lion’s Herald, a newspaper I founded in 2021 that currently serves as the primary source of academic-testing information for several institutions in Surabaya.
